Monday Night Makeup

Hope you all had a fab weekend?

Apologies for the delay on this weeks Monday Night Makeup but better late than never right?

I created this look using lots of new products for the first time so I’m dying to let you know how I got on!

First up, I used the Kylie Cosmetics NICE Palette for the first time, despite owning it for months! Originally it was released as part of the 2017 Christmas collection but it’s since been repackaged and it’s now a staple within the Kylie Cosmetics family.

The palette contains 14 shades ranging from toned down taupes to glistening glitters and there’s an even mix between matte and shimmer textures.

The Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadows are buttery soft,  extremely pigmented and blend like a dream!

The NICE Palette is priced at $44 and you can buy it on www.kyliecosmetics.com.

I finished off the eye look using Huda Beauty Mink Lashes in style Audrey.

The Mink collection is made of cruelty-free premium mink fur, giving an impressively natural look that mimics your own lashes while adding extra length and volume. Each design is inspired and named after incandescent and timeless beauty icons.

Designed to reflect the timeless elegance of one of the most celebrated style icon of our time, Audrey Hepburn, this delicate set creates an overall elegant and sophisticated look. Their medium volume and subtle lengthening make them perfect to be worn on any occasion. Each lash can be used up to 15 times.

They’re priced at $39 and you can buy them on the Huda Beauty website here.

To prime the skin I used Urban Decay Cosmetics Optical Illusion Complexion Primer for the first time.

This primer reduces fine lines and makes pores vanish for a porcelain-like texture. The velvety soft, lightweight formula has a slight pink tint to illuminate skin pre-makeup, but dries down to a translucent, matte finish.

Optical Illusion Complexion Primer creates an optical veil of scattered light, giving skin a soft-focus effect for a beautiful, airbrushed finish.

It’s priced at €29 and you can buy it on the Debenhams website here.

Next up I used the bareMinerals barePRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation in shade Warm Light.

This new liquid mineral foundation improves the appearance of skin texture over time while blurring pores and imperfections. The 24-hour breathable full coverage is powered by Mineral Lock Long-Wear Technology that blends mineral pigments with lipids naturally found in skin to lock in transfer-resistant, color-true coverage.

The luxuriously creamy liquid contains bamboo stem extract for a naturally matte, soft focus finish, while papaya enzymes gently improve skin’s texture both immediately and over time.

barePRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation is heat, humidity, water and sweat-resistant and provides broad spectrum non-chemical SPF 20 / PA++ sun protection, which is essential in preventing premature aging of the skin.

It’s priced at €33 and you can buy it from Brown Thomas here.

I then used the new L’Oreal Infaillible Longwear Shaping Stick in shade 502 Gold is Cold to conceal.

This base shaping stick has an ultra-creamy formula which seamlessly melts into skin for buildable coverage, without the mask effect. The round-shaped bullet applicator allows for precise, even coverage while the matte formula creates a flawless, shine-free base.

They’re priced at €11.99 and you can get them from L’Oreal stockists nationwide.

Once I set the base I used the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow in shade Fair-Medium to contour and highlight.

Filmstar Bronze & Glow contour palette will help you slim, sculpt, shorten, trim and highlight your features. Colour-rich pigments are rolled into elastomer pearls that smooth and buff your skin for a blendable and even coverage.

The bronzer is a blend of pearl and pigment to help contour your face and mimic sun-kissed skin while the highlighter has a golden base to universally flatter any skin tone with Light Flex Technology to capture and reflect light just where you want it.

It’s priced at €65 and you can buy it from Brown Thomas here.

Last but not least I set the look with Urban Decay Cosmetics All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

Mist on this weightless spray to give your makeup serious staying power. All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray keeps makeup looking just-applied for up to 16 hours without melting, fading or settling into fine lines.

Developed in an exclusive partnership with Skindinavia, the groundbreaking formula is suitable for all skin types, free of oil and parabens, and features patented Temperature Control Technology. Yep, this baby actually lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep foundation, eyeshadow, blush and concealer in place even in hot and humid or cold and windy conditions – SOLD!

It’s priced at €31 and you can get it from Debenhams here.

I hope you enjoyed the latest instalment of Monday Night Makeup! As usual, if you have any questions just holler! x
