#OOTD: Lightweight Khaki Trench

I brought this little lightweight khaki trench with me to California and wore it as part of an outfit last week!

By the sounds of the rain belting off my window though, I can’t imagine wearing this as a coat is appropriate for the Irish climate right now.

The good thing is though, it’s so lightweight and flimsy, you would fit a coat over it no bother. And I don’t mean flimsy in the negative sense, I just simply used that word to emphasise its delicateness.

However, if you were planning on wearing it as part of an occasion outfit, i.e. a night out, a christening, a wedding etc… you could still get away with it in the sense that you’ll just be jumping in and out of taxis or cars.

A trip to town on public transport of a Saturday mid December though, is a whole other story. You will most definitely need to wear a couple of layers on top!

I got it from and it also comes in Burgundy and Black too!

The lightweight trench features pockets and a waist belt. I’ve paired mine with a simple jeans and top combo and it’s perfect for lunching with the girls.

It’s also an amazing addition, as I said, for a more formal event, especially for the ladies who hate exposing their arms!

It comes in one size fits all due to its elasticated fabric and can be machined washed at 30 degrees! It’s priced at €39 and you can purchase one from iClothing here:

My jeans cost just €19 from Penney’s and are still in stock plus are available in a variety of other colours too like white and grey!

I buy all my classic tanks from Vero Moda and I have for as long as I can remember! They are the perfect length, have the perfect amount of stretch, never go out of shape and never lose their colour!

I’d say I have easily about four black and four white on the go at the moment! A multi-pack containing one black and one white is priced at €16.95 on the Vero Moda website. You can shop a pack of basic tanks here:

I’m also pictured wearing my favourite pair of heels at the moment which are these nude leather caged sandals! They go with absolutely everything and are a great buy! I bought them from River Island for €75 and they are still available to purchase on their website:
