Sunday Night Skincare

Happy Sunday guys, I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend so far!

For this weeks episode of Sunday Night Skincare I want to focus on my favourite facial oils and eye creams.

Despite suffering from breakouts I am quite prone to dryness and regularly use facial oils to restore hydration and luminosity. I also incorporate eye creams and serums into my skincare routine to prevent lines and wrinkles from forming around the eye area where skin is most delicate.

I’ll kick things off with one of my favourite products EVER, the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Oil.

It’s a concentrated revitalising treatment that delivers a vibrantly healthy, hydrated and radiant complexion. The shake-to-activate formula delivers beneficial ingredients to delicate facial skin, helping to guard against environmental stressors while supporting the skin’s natural moisture barrier with the aid of essential oils.

Its weightless, nongreasy texture absorbs on contact for a perfect pre-makeup finish and can be added to boost your favourite moisturiser or foundation and can be applied anywhere on your face, body or hair.

It contains Juvenessence (an algae extract that encourages firmer skin), Vitamin A (a plant-derived retinoid that helps nourish skin’s health), bioplasma (a marine microorganism that supports the skin’s natural moisture barrier) and Vitamin C which helps to even and brighten skin while fighting against harsh environmental conditions.

Skin instantly looks and feels supple, hydrated and luminous after use. I have been using this for less than a year and I’m already on my third bottle – it’s incredible! You can buy it online or in store at Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre.

Next up, another one of my favourites is the Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil.

This best-selling face oil contains extracts of rosewood, patchouli and blue orchid to tone, revitalise and restore radiance to moisture-depleted skin. Added hazelnut oil helps prevent moisture loss and the formation of fine lines.

Suitable for combination to dry skin,  the potent plant blend formulation helps to prevent moisture loss and the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. The epidermis is toned and revived and the skin appears more resilient and radiant after use.

The sheer texture absorbs rapidly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue on the skin. Use in the evening following your cleansing routine – apply a small amount to a slightly damp face and neck and gently blot the excess away.

Priced at €42 you can buy it at Clarins counters nationwide.

I also love the Aveda Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil.

Interestingly, Tulasāra means “moving toward balance” in Sanskrit.

Aveda Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil is a fast-absorbing facial oil inspired by Abhyanga (an Ayurvedic massaging technique) to promote health and well-being.

The 100% naturally derived blend of six plant oils is designed to be massaged into skin after facial dry brushing to help promote microcirculation, nourish and restore skin’s radiance.

Expertly blended with six plant oils including Certified Organic Sesame, Sunflower, Jojoba Seed, Rose Hip, Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond, the luxurious treatment delivers intense nourishment to leave your complexion soft, smooth and rejuvenated with restored radiance.

The formula is also non-acnegenic and is suitable for all skin types. Priced at €53 you can pick it up in Debenhams stores nationwide.

The first of my favourite eye treatments is the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment.

This creamy eye treatment offers an instant burst of hydration and gently moisturises the delicate under-eye area. It smoothes skin with a uniquely-concentrated formula that won’t migrate under makeup. It contains highly effective natural ingredients that provide essential hydration and protection and the eye area is softer, suppler and more youthful-looking after use.

The formula contains Avocado Oil ( a rich, fatty-acid emollient known to be the most moisturising of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of amino acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E and Potassium), Beta-Carotene  (a naturally-derived antioxidant predominantly found in many orange and red vegetables such as carrots. It is used in Vitamin A production and gives an orange tint when used in skincare products) and Shea Butter (benefits include protection from dehydration, restoring skin’s suppleness and improving the appearance of dry skin).

Priced between €28 – €43 depending on size, you can pick it up from Kiehl’s store nation-wide, Arnotts or Debenhams.

Next up, I am obsessed with the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Advanced Repair Retinol Eye Cream.

It’s a potent anti-aging treatment containing the highest non-prescription concentration of retinol which works in synergy with the powerful antioxidant resveratrol and moisture-binding hyaluronic acid.

It helps repair damage while reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles in addition to firming loose skin, smoothing texture and restoring radiance.

I also LOVE the Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Eye Serum.

This concentrated eye serum treatment helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. The water-light serum hydrates and brightens the look of skin with the combined power of peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants. With continued use the under-eye area will appear less lined, smoother, firmer and brighter.

Both the Beauty Booster Advanced Repair Retinol Eye Cream and Beauty Booster Eye Serum can be purchased online or in Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre.

Lastly I want to recommend the NeoStrata Bionic Eye Cream which is another favourite of mine.
This potent multi-functional eye cream targets dark circles and reduces other visible signs of aging such as puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin K targets the look of dark under eye circles while Lactobionic Acid, a potent antioxidant, helps target collagen by smoothing lines from the inside. Green Tea and Cucumber Extracts reduce puffiness and soothe the eye area.
Skin around the eye area appears firmer and less puffy after use. Priced at €54.55 you can purchase it on the NeoStrata website here.
I hope you enjoyed the latest instalment of Sunday Night Skincare x
