Happy Sunday guys, I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend?
I have some amazing products to recommend in this weeks episode of Sunday Night Skincare and I want to kick things off with two fantastic products I’ve been using from the Clinique range.
The first Clinique product I want to recommend is the Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C.
This ultra-fine powder activates with water for an exhilarating cleansing experience that instantly delivers visible benefits. Skin is awakened and instantly brighter with an even, refined texture after use. Its non-drying, non-stripping formula is gentle enough for use every morning and preps skin for treatment with Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% (which I’ll chat about next).
Pure Vitamin C naturally degrades when exposed to oxygen so it’s most powerful when fresh. The stay-fresh packaging isolates the pure Vitamin C until activation, maintaining its freshness and full power for maximum results. Each box is priced at €32 and contains 28 sachets equating to a 1 month supply.
The next Clinique product I want to recommend is the Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% which goes hand in hand with the Renewing Powder Cleanser.
This super potent booster is designed to be used as a daily supplement to visibly rejuvenate, brighten and re-texturise skin. Simply mix 2 drops with your moisturiser AM & PM and see visible results instantly. Skin appears brighter, age spots appear reduced and the appearance of lines and wrinkles are reduced over time.
Similarly to the Renewing Powder Cleanser the stay-fresh packaging isolates the pure Vitamin C until activation, maintaining its freshness and full power for maximum results. Each box is priced at €70 and you’ll get a 28-day supply in four 7-day vials.
If you’re not a fan of powder cleansers or mix-with-water formulas but would like to start incorporating Vitamin C into your daily skincare routine, I would highly recommend the Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Facial Cleanser.
This pharmaceutical-grade, high potency Vitamin C creamy cleanser emulsifies makeup and gently removes impurities while nourishing skin with essential antioxidants and vitamins. It infuses skin with high levels of antioxidant vitamin C and is physician formulated for:
- Redness-prone and sensitive skin
- Dry, dehydrated skin
- Sun-damaged or sunburned skin
- Cleansing post-peel or post-operative skin
Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Facial Cleanser works to brighten the skin, soothe and reduce irritation and improve overall skin tone and texture.
You guys know I’m a massive fan of oil cleansers and one I’ve started using recently is the Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil.
This skin-replenishing blend of plant oils rapidly dissolves makeup and whisks away impurities leaving skin soft and smooth with no greasy residue.
Infused with five plant oils specifically chosen for their ability to break down makeup and facial debris, this luxe cleansing oil nurtures the skin’s moisture balance. The fragrance-free formula is gentle yet works incredibly fast, leaving the skin clean and silky after use.
Sunflower, coconut, meadowfoam, jojoba and grape seed oils come together to simultaneously cleanse and replenish the skin’s barrier. The innovative formula turns to a milky emulsion when mixed with water and works to remove even the most stubborn impurities and tenacious makeup.
To use apply a small amount of cleanser (1-2 pumps) to wet or dry skin with gentle circular motions and rinse well. To remove heavy makeup, repeat or use with a clean, wet washcloth. It’s priced at €25 and you can buy it online at Cloud 10 Beauty.
Next up I want to recommend the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Powerfoil Mask.
Rich in hyaluronic acid, this treatment provides fast and deep reaching results, locking in moisture for beautifully smooth and hydrated skin.
To use apply once a week to cleansed skin, leave on for 10 minutes before removing mask and gently massage any excess liquid into the skin.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Masks are priced at €20 each and can be purchased from Brown Thomas.
Another product I’m obsessed with at the moment is the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, a nighttime facial oil that visibly restores the appearance of skin.
Formulated with a blend of essential oils and distilled botanicals including Lavender Essential Oil (a calming oil that helps soothe inflamed or irritated skin while helping reduce blotchy skin for a brighter, more even skin tone), Evening Primrose Oil (this oil contains essential fatty acids that the body cannot produce on its own which help to repair the skin barrier while maintaining hydration and elasticity) and Squalane (a highly-refined botanical lipid derived from olives that absorbs easily and is known to help replenish skin’s barrier keeping it soft, supple and moisturised).
Midnight Recovery Concentrate restores overnight to help skin repair itself from daily aggressors, firmness is improved, elasticity is replenished and skin is radiant after use.
To use apply 2-3 drops of facial serum on skin and gently press fingertips to cheeks, forehead and chin to evenly distribute before massaging into skin.
Last but not least I want to recommend one of my favourite moisturisers, the Image Skincare Ageless Total Retinol A Creme.
Image Skincare Ageless Total Retinol A Creme includes a potent blend of Retinol mixed with polypeptides that penetrate the skin to repair, rejuvenate and resurface the skin. Effective on all skin types, this miracle creme is particularly effective to improve the condition of aging and acne-prone skin.
Total Retinol A Creme rejuvenates skin complexion for a brilliant appearance, tightens skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and repairs ageing and acne-prone skin.
There are a few important things to remember when using this product:
- Use SPF daily – retinol increases your sun-sensitivity.
- Do not use for 48 hours before or after waxing, peels, laser-treatments and microdermabrasion.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks episode of Sunday Night Skincare. As usual if you have any questions relating to any of the products featured don’t hesitate to get in touch, I would be more than happy to help! x
